TLS doesn’t just configure and manage itself…

… it needs a Control Plane.

TLS is the backbone of the internet and needs care and feeding to ensure its at the right version, its base libraries are at the latest release, maximally and optimally configured, and operating correctly. Here are some good sources of TLS configuration information starting with NIST. Doing all of this is getting more and more complex making the requirement to have a Control Plane more and more evident.
